Custom Photo Props, LLC will be at the Imaging USA Expo in January 2012 !!!

What is Imaging USA you ask? Imaging USA is the longest running national photographic convention, expo and image exhibition in the US. Custom Photo Props will be at the Imaging EXPO trade show that takes place from Sunday, January 15 – January 17 in New Orleans, LA.

Aside from the EXPO there are business classes and seminars to give you that competitive edge you may be looking for. I hope I may get a chance to meet some of my loyal customers and even develop new relationships with some new photographers as well!

We plan to have a lot of our unique handmade photography props on hand so we don’t run out. It will be a very long travel from New York at about 23 hours! I hope everything goes smoothly for us especially since it’s in January and we won’t have the best driving conditions.

I am excited to have so many products on hand for photographers to view before purchasing where they can see high quality photography props firsthand.

Custom Photo Props, LLC Referral Contest!!!

Hello Everyone!! Sorry it has been so long since I have blogged! It has been a crazy busy summer!! With all my new company changes and products as well as moving my shop to a new location and buying a new house I definitely need more hours in the day!!! Anyway, Custom Photo Props, LLC is having a referral contest with TWO AweSOmE prize packages for some very lucky photographers!! This is how it is going to work:

Rules:

1) Contest starts on August 8 at 12:00 a.m est. and ends on August 13 at 11:59 pm. est.

2) There will be not just one winner but TWO lucky souls! First prize for referring the most new fans to my Facebook fan page will get a prize package with the following items : 1 Snuggle Blanket, 2 Babies to Ladies wraps, 1 small fur, 2 cheesecloth wraps, 2 headbands, 1 Wee Womb, and 1 Stretch Wrap. That’s a whole lot of free props and valued at $185.00 !!! Second prize for referring the second highest amount of new fans will receive the following prize package : 1 Snuggle Blanket, 2 Babies to Ladies wraps, 1 cheesecloth,and 1 headband. That lovely package is valued at $110.00. Each package was designed with a little bit of everything for those newborn baby photo sessions!!

3) Once the contest ends I will announce the winners on my facebook fan page. They will have 24 hrs to email me at customphotoprops@yahoo.com to claim their prizes. No exceptions. Make sure you check back every day to keep the contest going and know when you need to get more referrals to get that first or second place slot.

How to Enter:

1) You will need to go to my Facebook fan page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Custom-Photo-Props/117666551648026 and hit “Like” if you are not already a fan. Then post on the fanpage wall “Count me in for the great photo prop giveaway contest! “

2) After you have liked the Facebook fan page come back here to my blog and let me know who referred you to the fan page. This is a must and if the referring contestant’s name is not entered the entry will not count. The two photographers who refer the most new fans will win first and second place prizes!!

These images are printed on a 64 inch wide heavy duty, 13 oz. matte finish vinyl banner material. This material has a high tenacity polyester core sandwiched with white vinyl on both sides. They are printed with eco-solvent inks that produce high quality colors. This water resistant material is for indoor or outdoor use. Images will print to a wide 62 inches.

We can also do custom drops as well. If you want your own image printed on a drop you can email me your file at customphotoprops@yahoo.com and we will forward the information to our printer. Custom Photo Props is Expanding!!

Just when you asked yourself if Custom Photo Props could possibly supply any more fun, creative, and unique photo props; we are at it again!
If you have stopped by the shop lately you have seen the new ultimate stretch newborn baby wraps, hand dyed cheesecloth baby wraps and maternity scarves, solid wood trench bowls for newborn babies (No imitation wood products sold here.), baby to adult flower headbands, fur baby nest rugs which come in a large variety of colors including gray silver, ivory white, purple haze, pasture green, paprika orange, caramel, chocolate, pecan brown.
Among all of those great items we are adding handmade newborn and doll beds.

These doll beds are custom made by a local cabinet maker in my area. He is the master at what he does and when you see the high quality product we produce you will want one in every style and color! I designed each bed myself and varied each one from a simple style to Victorian which will suit everyone’s fancy.

Our unique and extremely rare solid wood newborn trenchers are a favorite among photographers and those wanting to decorate their home with a rustic appeal. After all of these great new products there are still more to come!! But for now those will be kept under lock and key until I find the time is right. I also need more room to store everything

I started getting serious about photography the way many women started…I wanted better pictures of my daughter! Yes, I am an MWAC {mom with a camera}. And proud of it! My first priority is to be a mom. I started the business almost two years ago when we decided to save for another child (adoption/fertility expenses can be outrageous!). I now do it as a creative outlet and LOVE it! Right now I do all kinds of sessions, but my favorite to shoot is high school seniors and children/babies.

Wee Womb Cocoon Newborn Photo Prop Instructional Video

I am so thankful to a sweetheart by the name of Audrey Anderson of Audrey Anderson Photography at http://www.audreyandersonphotography.com based out of Louisville, Kentucky for making this video for all of us!
Even though I am the designer of this baby photo prop I had never used one on a live baby until this week. I was lucky enough to attend a newborn session and found the ease of using this newborn cocoon photo prop was with such ease! It was easier than I expected, though depending on the baby and situation it may not always be the case.
A few weeks ago I had a customer request on my Facebook wall a video demonstration on using the Wee Womb. Audrey noticed that request and volunteered right away to make it during her next newborn session! Wasn’t that so nice of her?!! Here it is, and I hope it helps any of you that were struggling. Please keep in mind there are other ways to use the cocoon but Audrey finds this the easiest way in most scenarios.

Out With The Old & In With The New

Just like the new year that is upon us, Custom Photo Props is discontinuing some photo prop products and coming out with some new ones! We are very excited for this revamp as it will refresh our product line and offer a more simple approach to photography props.
Two of the products that will no longer be offered are our reversible Baby Bundlers and Baby Hangouts. They will be replaced with a natural hand-dyed cheese cloth baby wrap that measures 18 inches by 36 inches.

The rest is a secret and you have to wait to see what it is in the next couple of months!! Stay tuned and we thank all of you for being so supportive and dedicated customers of Custom Photo Props!!

Another Happy Customer Makes Me Very Happy!

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by Elena who wanted to order some new props for her studio. She decided on a galaxy fringe hammock and a woodland and sky fringe hammock blanket, all white fringe throw, hot cocoa fringe throw and two Babies to Ladies wraps.
